Flexible Learning Unit

During 2007-08, a Flexible Learning Unit (FLU) on hands-on computer training for Government officials of different departments having varied individual training-need specifications was initiated at AASC in which participants, who are otherwise busy, were practiced under guidance for 2-3 hours a day on dates convenient to them. This need- based practical training at flexible hours was well received and further demands have now been received from officials /Departments. In view of the response, the AASC proposes to fully operationalise a Flexible Learning Unit (FLU) for hands-on computer training on MS Office Productivity Tools, internet use etc. during the current year from 7^th April/08.

In the FLU, training facilities will be made available for 2-3 hours at any time between 10.30 am 4 pm on working days. The period of the 2–3 hours hands-on-training in the FLU will vary from 5-10 days depending on the individual learning needs of the participants.

Officers wishing to avail of the facilities in the FLU are requested to register themselves with the Computer Cell of AASC upon which they will be allotted commencement dates.
